Aging Well With Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine

More attention is being spent in this country on the topic of aging than every before. As more and more Americans enter their fifth, sixth, and seventh decades, they are looking for ways to feel younger, look younger and age healthfully. Millions of dollars are spent annually on vitamins and food supplements, cosmetics and cosmetic procedures, exercise equipment and gadgets in an effort to ward off, and even deny, the “ravages” of old age.
In our culture, we tend to think of aging as a breakdown or a decline in health, almost as if our bodies are failing us. However, the Chinese have a different perspective. Apr 10th
There is a part of the population that cringe at the thought of sitting at the doctor’s office getting poked and pinched to get a diagnosis. While a visit to the doctor is an important part of staying healthy, there are times when you can actually get diagnosed without physically going to a doctor’s office and get medicine with no prescription. No legitimate pharmacy, online or otherwise, will disburse medication with no prescription. Online pharmacies will still require a medical specialist to determine whether the medication you are requesting for is the right medication for you. Golf Fitness: the Easiest at Home Golf Fitness Program
Mar 20th
How do golf and fitness go together? Why do I need golf fitness training? What difference would a golf fitness program make to my golf game? I can tell you all about that from what I have seen with my friend and golfing buddy, Dooley Duffer. Dooley had been away from the game for some years. His career and family took priority over his time and golf, although he loved it, it just would not fit into his schedule. As he advanced in his career he became less physically active. He even moved to a management position so time in the office was nothing like the work he had been doing. His body began to show his change in lifestyle. Don’t tell him I told you this, but his middle seemed to grow faster than his salary. Bet you know how that story goes, huh? He had only played very occasionally during that time. So I don’t think he realized how much being out of shape affected his golf swing performance. Then Dooley changed companies and began to play golf regularly again thanks to his new boss who had recently taken up the game. With his kids grown Dooley now had More >

Food is your best medicine. Or, more accurately, the right food choices can be powerful medicine for the mind and body. A lot of people are aware of this to one degree or another, but they don’t always act on the knowledge or use it to their benefit in the fullest extent. Everything we put into our body has an effect of one kind or another. Healthy foods that were given to us by Mother Nature, like whole fruits and vegetables, herbs and nuts and seeds can be much more than excellent sources of vitamins and nutrition. Many of them, can also help us fight or prevent a wide variety of health conditions or syndromes and some may even prevent or cure diseases. Many people are beginning to realize how important their choices in foods really are as more and more research is being done to explore the impact foods have on our health. It is estimated that at least one third More >
